Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 26 April 2026

This Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions and engagements with Gladwin International Leadership Advisors (“Gladwin International”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may be cancelled, the notice period required for each service line, and the financial implications of cancellation. This policy should be read together with our Refund Policy, Service Delivery Policy, and Terms of Use.

1. CXO Self-Serve Portal Subscriptions

1.1 Cancellation by you

You may cancel your CXO Self-Serve Portal subscription at any time by writing to the email address below or by using the in-portal cancellation option (where available). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; no auto-renewal will be charged thereafter.

1.2 Refund on cancellation

If cancellation is requested within seven (7) business days of the original payment, a full refund is available subject to the terms of our Refund Policy. Cancellations after the seven-day window do not attract a refund, but you continue to retain access until the end of your paid subscription period.

1.3 Cancellation by us

We may suspend or cancel your access to the CXO Self-Serve Portal in the event of (a) breach of our Terms of Use, (b) suspected fraudulent activity, (c) misuse of confidential tools or data, or (d) non-payment of fees. Where cancellation is initiated by us due to material breach, fees already paid are non-refundable.

2. Retained Executive Search Engagements

2.1 Notice period

Either party may terminate a retained search engagement by providing thirty (30) days' prior written notice to the other party. The engagement letter executed at the start of the mandate will set out any additional cancellation provisions specific to that engagement.

2.2 Fees on cancellation

All search retainer instalments and milestone fees that have become due as of the effective date of cancellation are payable in full and are non-refundable. This reflects the irreversible cost of work already undertaken — including discovery, market mapping, candidate identification, outreach, and assessment.

2.3 Off-limits and confidentiality

On cancellation, both parties remain bound by the confidentiality, off-limits, and intellectual property provisions of the engagement letter for the periods specified therein.

3. Interim Leadership Engagements

Interim leadership deployments are typically governed by a separate statement of work which sets out the deployment period, notice periods, and termination terms. Unless otherwise agreed, either party may terminate an interim engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. Fees accrued up to the effective termination date are payable in full.

4. Leadership Advisory and Managed Talent Acquisition

Leadership advisory retainers, board advisory mandates, and managed talent acquisition programmes follow the cancellation terms set out in the applicable engagement letter or statement of work. In the absence of specific terms, a thirty (30) day written notice period applies, and fees for work performed up to the effective date of cancellation are payable in full and non-refundable.

5. Intelligence Reports and One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases — including compensation benchmarking reports, competitor talent intelligence reports, and standalone advisory deliverables — may be cancelled prior to delivery by writing to us within twenty-four (24) hours of payment. Once a deliverable has been issued, the purchase cannot be cancelled. See our Refund Policy for related refund treatment.

6. How to Cancel

To cancel any subscription or engagement, please send an email to the address below with:

  • Full name and registered email or company name.
  • Service or engagement reference, payment reference (if applicable), and date of original payment.
  • Effective date of cancellation requested.
  • Brief reason (optional but appreciated for our service-improvement records).

We will acknowledge your cancellation request within 48 hours, confirm the effective date of cancellation, and provide written confirmation of any associated refund or final invoice within five (5) business days.

7. Effect of Cancellation

  • Access: Portal access continues until the end of your paid subscription period for CXO Self-Serve Portal cancellations after the seven-day window.
  • Data: Your data is retained for the period set out in our Privacy Policy and may be deleted on written request, subject to legal or regulatory retention obligations.
  • Outstanding invoices: Any outstanding fees, milestone payments, or accrued charges up to the effective date of cancellation remain payable.
  • Survival: Confidentiality, off-limits, indemnity, and intellectual-property provisions of any engagement letter survive cancellation.

8. Disputes

Any dispute relating to cancellation, fees payable, or refunds will first be addressed by mutual discussion between the parties in good faith. Where resolution is not reached within thirty (30) days, the dispute will be referred to the dispute-resolution mechanism set out in your engagement letter or, in the absence of one, in our Terms of Use.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, applicable law, or business practices. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
