    Who this is for

Apex Club fits when these are true.

    • You are a sitting CEO, Group CFO, or board chair of a Fortune 1000, FTSE 100, or sovereign-backed global enterprise
    • Your next mandate will be CEO / Group CFO / Chair / lead non-executive at a comparable global enterprise
    • You require sector-specialist intelligence (deep-source operator interviews, governance-overlay positioning) beyond what algorithmic signal-extraction surfaces
    • You need air-gapped engagement options for mandates with extreme discretion sensitivity

    Who this is not for

When the wrong fit is honest.

    • You are not yet at full Fortune 1000 / FTSE 100 / sovereign-backed CEO seniority — Magnus or Infinity Plus serves you better and we will say so on application
    • You expect to make the next move within 90 days — Apex is a 6-month vigilance product calibrated for the 12–18 month decision horizon
    • You are exploring mandates broadly (5+ active candidacies in parallel) — Apex is calibrated for 1–3 high-conviction mandates per cycle

    What you get

    What Apex Club delivers

Quarterly horizon scans + monthly tactical updates

Apex briefings arrive quarterly as a 14-page horizon scan covering 4–8 named-counterparty mandates, plus monthly tactical updates as conviction moves above the action threshold for any specific mandate. Density and depth absent from any other tier.

    Sector-specialist intelligence layer

Deep-source operator interviews — former CEOs / CFOs / board members of named counterparties, conducted under strict NDA, abstracted not attributed. The signal class no algorithm can produce. Typically 8–12 operator interviews per Apex member per cycle.

    Governance overlay (proxy advisor positioning)

Every named-counterparty mandate arrives with a one-page governance overlay: ISS / Glass Lewis recent positioning, activist-fund history, board composition and tenure profile, proxy-season pressure points. Informs whether to approach chair, lead independent director, or nominating committee directly.

    Named-counterparty NDA addenda

For each mandate where direct introduction is recommended, we provide a pre-drafted named-counterparty NDA covering the specific issuer, the introduction party, and the expected confidentiality scope. Sent under separate cover after you confirm intent to proceed.

    Air-gapped engagement option

For mandates with extreme discretion sensitivity (FTSE 100 CEO succession, sovereign-backed boards, activist-pressured Fortune 500), members may opt for air-gapped engagement: in-person meetings only, no electronic record on the member side, the Principal Partner liaises as the named intermediary throughout.

    Direct Principal Partner access

Apex relationships are owned, not delegated. The Principal Partner of the firm holds your relationship directly and is reachable at any hour on any channel. Strategy calls scheduled monthly; ad-hoc availability for high-conviction mandate windows.

    Frequently asked

10 questions members ask before activation.

Why no member-day discount on Apex?

Apex Club pricing is fixed by design. Discount mechanics work for tiers where conversion volume matters; Apex is calibrated for fit, not volume. The hard cap of 500 active members means we are not optimising for incremental sign-ups. Members appreciate that Apex pricing is stable and identical across all members — no negotiating, no waiting for discount days, no promotional dynamics.

    Why a 5-7 month waitlist?

Hard cap of 500 active members at any one time. Most members renew at month 6, so net openings come from members who exit the cycle (placement, sabbatical, declined renewal). The Principal Partner caps simultaneous Apex engagements at a level that preserves the directly-reachable relationship promise.

How does the operator-interview layer work?

For each named-counterparty mandate, we conduct 2–4 informal interviews with former operating executives or board members of that issuer. All interviews held under strict NDA — content is abstracted into your briefing, never attributed. Our operator network spans Fortune 1000, FTSE 100, FTSE 250, ASX 100, sovereign-backed enterprises, and major PE / family-office portfolios. Interviews are not disclosed to the named counterparty.

What does "air-gapped engagement" mean in practice?

For mandates where any electronic record on the member side creates unacceptable risk (e.g., FTSE 100 CEO succession discussions, sovereign-backed board appointments, activist-pressured Fortune 500), all communication occurs via in-person meetings only. The Principal Partner liaises as the named intermediary; the member receives no electronic briefings about that specific mandate. Three Apex mandates this year have been air-gapped.

Is the Principal Partner accessible directly or via an EA?

Direct. Mobile, email, signal — your access is to a named individual, not a desk or a team. Apex Club relationships are by design undelegated; that is a structural commitment.

Can I have my external counsel review the named-counterparty NDA addendum?

Yes — and we expect you to. The NDA addendum is issued under separate cover specifically so you can route it through your own counsel before the introduction proceeds. We can adjust scope, jurisdiction, term length, and carve-outs through your counsel.

How does Apex differ from a top-tier global retained search firm?

Retained firms work mandates after the issuer engages them; Apex tracks issuers continuously, including those who have not yet engaged a search firm. Retained firms work for the hirer (their fee comes from the placement); Apex works for you (your fee buys vigilance independent of placement). The two are complementary; many Apex members maintain relationships with one or two retained firms in parallel.

What if my situation is too sensitive even for the application form?

Email the Principal Partner directly at apex@gladwininternational.com (encrypted reply-channel can be arranged on request). The application is form-friendly only because most applicants prefer the structure; the channel is open.

Do you guarantee an Apex Club placement?

No. The mandate types Apex tracks (Fortune 1000 CEO, FTSE 100 board chair, sovereign-backed CEO) typically settle on candidates with multi-decade operating records and pre-existing board relationships. Apex membership materially improves the visibility, governance positioning, and reach-out quality on those mandates — but no member, at any tier, is guaranteed an outcome we cannot underwrite.

How do I see what a real Apex briefing looks like?

Request a sample briefing on this page. The Apex sample is 14 pages — quarterly horizon scan format, ten signals, four named-counterparty mandates with governance overlay, three reach-out drafts, named-counterparty NDA addendum. Watermarked to you and traceable.
