Business transformation organisation in Belgium
The problem this seat exists to solve
The lead will coordinate delivery across suppliers and internal teams contributing to a business transformation. The assignment addresses gaps in interfaces, acceptance and ownership that can persist even when each party reports progress against its own plan. It requires delivery leadership and technical understanding, supported by the organisation's commercial and procurement authorities.
Establish the common delivery baseline
Review supplier responsibilities, internal obligations and the acceptance evidence required for the overall service. Identify dependencies that are missing from individual plans or described differently by each party. Agree what each handoff must contain and when the receiving team needs it.
Lead an integrated schedule and escalation process. Meetings should resolve decisions and interfaces, not merely collect status. Where a change affects commercial terms, provide evidence and options to authorised colleagues rather than making an informal commitment on behalf of the organisation.
Protect the receiving operation
Coordinate testing, training and support readiness across the delivery boundary. A supplier's completion should not be confused with the organisation's ability to use and maintain the result. Track unresolved defects, documentation and support obligations through acceptance and early operation.
The lead must balance constructive relationships with clear accountability. Cooperation is essential, but it should not become a reason to accept unclear scope or repeatedly defer difficult issues. Equally, contractual escalation should be based on evidence and handled through the proper channels.
Experience and role limits
Candidates need programme or project delivery experience involving multiple suppliers and internal stakeholders. They should understand technology dependencies and have demonstrated the ability to resolve disagreement without losing control of the overall plan. A prior enterprise technology executive role is not required.
The lead owns coordination and the agreed delivery process, while contract amendments, material spending and formal acceptance remain with designated owners. The engagement should leave accepted outcomes, clear support responsibilities and an accurate record of outstanding obligations. Handover must identify any continuing dependency on suppliers and the arrangements for managing it. Success is a coherent operating result, not simply the closure of separate contracts whose outputs still require unplanned integration.

Before you apply — this is an executive role
An interim seat needs work authorisation. A board seat in Belgium usually does not.
This is the single most common way a cross-border interim engagement falls apart after it has been agreed. The visa-free position that applies to a non-executive director attending board meetings does not extend to an executive or operating role.
- Position in Belgium
- A non-executive director attending board meetings requires no permit. An executive seat held by a non-EEA national requires a professional card or work permit depending on the structure.

Belgium·Business Services & Diversified
Organisational recovery organisation in Belgium
The director will take executive responsibility for an operating integration requiring renewed direction. The mandate concerns unresolved interfaces, duplicated responsibilities and benefits that have not become normal business performance. It requires reassessing the remaining work and implementing a credible plan rather than simply reviving the original programme schedule.
Interim Technology Supplier Delivery Director
Belgium·Technology & Digital Platforms
Secure software delivery organisation in Belgium
The role carries executive responsibility for the agreed delivery plan and coordination of internal and supplier work. Contract amendments, settlement decisions and material expenditure remain with authorised officers. The engagement should conclude with accepted capability, clear support responsibilities and a documented position on outstanding work or claims. Handover must make any remaining supplier dependence visible. Success is a service the organisation can operate and govern, rather than a collection of completed supplier milestones that leaves the most important integration work unresolved.
Interim Technology Modernisation Programme Director
Belgium·Technology & Digital Platforms
Secure software delivery organisation in Belgium
Candidates should have led substantial technology-enabled change in a controlled or public-interest service environment. They need strong programme leadership, technical fluency and evidence of managing stakeholders with different objectives. Seniority should be demonstrated through the complexity of decisions handled and outcomes delivered, not simply through a prior title.
