Applying, allowances, membership and your record
The short answers, with the actual figures. If what you need is not here, a person will read your email — members@gladwininternational.com.
Applying
What an application is, how many you get, and what happens to it.
- How do I apply to a mandate?
- Open the brief from Live Mandates and use the apply panel on the page. You write one paragraph — why this brief, specifically. Your profile travels with it, so there is nothing else to retype. Applying needs a free account, because the account is what applications are counted against.
- How many applications do I get?
- A free member applies to one application a fortnight. Foresight Infinity applies to two applications a day — twenty-eight times as many. Both windows are rolling, not calendar: your allowance refreshes a fortnight (or a day) after the application that used it, not at midnight and not on a Monday. Your dashboard always shows what is left and when the next one opens.
- Why is the free allowance only one?
- Because the members who register here are incumbents — sitting chairs, group CFOs, audit-committee chairs — and they do not apply to ten briefs a fortnight. They apply to one, precisely, when it appears. One considered application is worth more to a sponsor than six speculative ones, and it is more than most directors make in a quarter.
- What happens after I apply?
- The Board Practice reads every application against the brief. Where it goes forward, your candidacy is framed for the sponsor rather than forwarded as a CV. Where it does not, you are told. Either way the status appears under My Applications — never left as an unexplained “pending”.
- Can I withdraw an application?
- Write to members@gladwininternational.com and it will be withdrawn. Note that a withdrawn application still counts against the window it was made in — it was read by somebody, and handing the allowance back would make the cap meaningless.
Membership
What Foresight Infinity costs, what it opens, and what it does not do.
- What does Foresight Infinity cost?
- US$150 for a month, or US$750 for the year — the year being 58% less than twelve months bought a month at a time. One payment. Nothing renews on its own and no card is kept on file. The sticker is in dollars; the charge settles in rupees at our published rate, so the page and your card statement are one price.
- What does it actually open?
- two applications a day instead of one application a fortnight; your candidacy framed for the sponsor by the Board Practice; regime-change alerts for the markets you target; market-specific eligibility work — the DIN and databank route for India, Central Bank pre-approval for Ireland, the director ID for Australia; and interim and advisory access, which are the fastest routes onto a foreign board.
- Is reading behind the paywall?
- No, and it never has been. All 223 briefs, every regional regime map, the feed, the mobility index and the eligibility checker are open to a free account. The tier changes applying, nothing else.
Your record and your markets
What we hold, what a sponsor sees, and how to change it.
- What does a sponsor see about me?
- Nothing, until you apply and we take it forward — and nothing beyond what an application carries even then. Your record is never shared with a sponsor without your agreement. The Exchange is not a CV database that boards browse.
- How do I change the markets I follow?
- My Exchanges. Your dashboard reads every mandate that opens in the markets you follow, so this is the setting that decides what you are shown. Following none means you see the newest briefs across all 43 markets instead.
- How do I correct my role, or delete my account?
- Your role, organisation and capability paragraph are editable at My Profile; your email and password at Settings. To close an account and remove the record, write to members@gladwininternational.com and it is done, in full.
Still stuck?
Write to the members’ desk. Include your registered email address and the mandate reference if it is about a specific brief, and you will get a reply from a person rather than a form.
