I examine the business we would have to become to serve a market, including the commitments that remain when we decide to leave it.

Work through the business the recommendation would create

01

What the market number lets an independent supplier pursue

Fifty-minute industrial opportunity workshop · Strategy, commercial and investment-review teams

This proposed session examines a ₹120 crore demand account that included ₹45 crore of captive internal supply within an independent merchant opportunity. Participants follow the correction to ₹75 crore, the ₹38 lakh research and replanning cost and a proposed ₹36 crore expansion held before commitment. The exercise separates category activity, accessible opportunity and the enterprise's possible participation. It asks what relationship the recommendation assumes and whether a small share percentage can conceal a poorly defined denominator. Participants revise the investment question without calling unspent capital a saving or treating the corrected market estimate as company revenue. The intended learning is to make the route visible inside the opportunity account. Finance, commercial and technical owners retain their respective responsibilities. A closing discussion considers how the degree of evidence should change as an exploratory idea becomes a material commitment. Every figure and organisation in the exercise is fictional, with no industry benchmark or investment recommendation implied.

02

The institution hidden inside the route-to-market choice

Fifty-minute executive strategy case · CEOs, CSOs and leaders considering partner-led growth

Participants compare a distributor-led launch with ₹2.4 crore approved scope and a ₹14 crore local-subsidiary proposal. The exercise examines staffing, control, customer reach and continuing work before comparing budgets. Four of six distributors placed repeat orders in the reviewed eighteen-month period, while two did not. Participants decide what that evidence establishes and what it leaves unresolved about the next commitment. The intended learning is to explain the business each route would require rather than use the smaller opening figure as a complete strategic argument. The session does not claim a controlled comparison, achieved savings or a settled return. It keeps commercial contracts, jurisdictional review and technical suitability with their responsible owners. Participants prepare questions for a later review that can challenge the chosen route without requiring management to defend the original recommendation indefinitely. This is an illustrative workshop using invented evidence, not a guide to entering any particular real jurisdiction or selecting a distributor.

03

What the acquisition adds beyond the reseller's turnover

Forty-five-minute transaction-fit discussion · Corporate-development teams and boards examining commercial acquisitions

This proposed discussion follows a catalogue reseller with ₹31 crore annual sales, including ₹18 crore sourced through the prospective acquirer's existing channel. The ₹22 crore transaction was declined after ₹64 lakh diligence. Participants examine the change in the combined commercial system rather than assume that adding two turnover figures explains the strategic benefit. The exercise does not treat overlapping sales as automatic cannibalisation or provide a mechanical valuation deduction. It asks what capability, reach or relationship the enterprise intended to acquire and what evidence supports that expectation. The intended learning is a clearer account of transaction fit, including the cost of reaching a refusal. Financial, legal and commercial specialists retain their decisions. Participants conclude by distinguishing rejection of a particular deal from a judgement that the reseller is a poor business. All organisations and figures are fictional, and the session offers no valuation opinion or recommendation about an actual transaction or security.

04

When withdrawal changes the map before it completes the work

Fifty-minute strategic-transition roundtable · Boards, strategy leaders and commercial transition owners

Participants examine a withdrawal from two distributor territories with eleven open commitments. Seven were completed while four remained under review, alongside an ₹84 lakh finance-approved transition provision. The exercise distinguishes the decision to stop developing a territory from completion of the relationships and obligations already created there. It also separates a provision from actual expenditure and avoids inventing delay, dispute or universal satisfaction. The intended learning is to keep the consequences of an earlier direction inside the review of a new one. Participants prepare a concise board account that retains progress and unfinished work without turning directors into contract administrators. A final discussion asks how the experience should inform future entry choices without becoming a blanket argument against expansion. The material is entirely illustrative; qualified owners remain responsible for actual agreements, accounting and jurisdictional questions. No legal or financial outcome is promised, and the reviewed case deliberately ends before all commitments are complete.

Short speaker biography

Kunal Zhevqari is a fictional Nashik-based CSO with thirty-nine years in industrial commerce. His proposed sessions examine market boundaries, distribution choices, acquisition fit and commitments that remain after withdrawal. He leads eighteen strategy colleagues at an invented workholding manufacturer and retains an opportunity-definition error in his account. The sessions represent no actual bookings or verified public appearances.

Standard speaker biography

Kunal Zhevqari is an invented Indian strategy executive whose career began in commercial analysis in 1987. He ran an export business before moving into corporate development and becoming CSO of Lerqavhi Workholding in 2021. Based in Nashik, he leads eighteen colleagues through three heads within ₹5.8 crore annual strategy expense. His cases examine merchant-market definition, distributor-led entry, channel overlap in an acquisition, staged application coverage and unfinished territory withdrawal. He has no personal equity or statutory appointment. Proposed sessions use fictional evidence to develop executive judgement and preserve financial, legal and technical authority; they are not actual engagements or recommendations about a real transaction.

Extended speaker biography

Kunal Zhevqari is a fictional Indian CSO based in Nashik, with thirty-nine years in industrial commerce and strategy. Raised in Pune, he completed commerce in 1987 and began as a commercial analyst at Zhevrami Industrial Components. Business-development responsibility followed, then an export-business role at Lerqavhi Workholding in 2002. He moved into corporate development in 2011 and became CSO in January 2021. The invented manufacturer employs 680 people and produces mechanical toggle clamps for industrial fixtures, with manufacturing in Aurangabad. Kunal leads eighteen strategy colleagues through three heads within ₹5.8 crore annual expense. He reports to CEO Maya Zerqavli; CFO Dev Mezvuli retains financial reporting. His work concerns the institution and commitments behind a market route. Five cases include an opportunity estimate he corrected, partner-led entry, a declined reseller acquisition, staged application coverage and a withdrawal with outstanding commitments. He has no equity or statutory seat. Fictional IICA registration and assessment completion in 2026 are preparation facts, not appointment clearance. His proposed workshops use invented organisations and figures, preserve specialist authority and do not represent real speaking engagements. A commissioned profile would require verified evidence, permissions and accurate descriptions of the leader's actual contribution before publication.
