Chief Marketing Officer India
What is the participant actually choosing to join?
I market professional forums by making the audience, geographic reach and proposed conversations specific enough for a participant to decide what the programme is worth to them.
Tell me which professional community the forum is meant to serve and what a sponsor currently believes the invitation promises. A registration list, a checked-in audience and a proposed buyer meeting describe different commercial propositions. I would like the first discussion to identify that proposition before reviewing a campaign deck. A cleared example of the offer is more useful than private delegate details. My executive interest concerns audience development, sponsorship expectations and a credible account of participation. If the enquiry concerns a first outside appointment, the chair should explain how those questions enter the board’s commercial agenda. Twenty-two proposed annual days would need employer agreement, preparation and a company-specific assessment. I would not promise access to delegates or imply that my participation validates their purchasing authority. The conversation should clarify whom the event brings together, why they would attend and which part of the advertised opportunity still lacks evidence.
