Actively sourcing

A demand profile the Exchange is actively sourcing against. The sponsor is not confirmed on this board, and we say so rather than implying a signed mandate. Registering interest puts you in front of the sponsor when the brief converts.

The problem this seat exists to solve

The regional COO has departed at the point the group is consolidating four country operations into one regional operating model. Momentum on the integration cannot be paused for a permanent search.

The remit

  • Hold the regional operating model together through a four-country consolidation
  • Own the integration plan and its milestones against the group's committed synergies
  • Stabilise the country leadership team and identify the permanent successor internally
  • Report to the regional board and to group headquarters

What the sponsor will not compromise on

  • COO or general management experience across multiple ASEAN markets
  • A completed multi-country consolidation or integration on your record
  • Ability to base in Singapore for the duration
  • Employment Pass eligibility

Terms

Engagement
Nine to twelve months, full time, based in Singapore.
Compensation
SGD 45,000 – 60,000 a month plus completion bonus.
Cross-border
An executive interim role requires an Employment Pass. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Before you apply — this is an executive role

An interim mandate needs work authorisation. A board seat in Singapore usually does not.

This is the single most common way a cross-border interim engagement falls apart after it has been agreed. The visa-free position that applies to a non-executive director attending board meetings does not extend to an executive or operating role.

Position in Singapore
A non-executive director who attends board meetings does not require an Employment Pass. Short business visits are covered by the standard visa position; a director taking an executive or interim operating role does need a pass.

Registering against a single brief is fine. Registering once against your whole profile means you are read against every mandate that opens in the markets you can actually be appointed in — statutory, interim and advisory.
