An invitation
Begin with the promise and the condition preventing its fulfilment
Where does the customer's machine sit in the service sequence, and what is preventing the next authorised action? That is the kind of operating question I would like to explore. A reservation can be waiting for stock, a repair for its owner's decision, or a delivery for a realistic route. Combining those states into one completion figure can hide the choice a manager needs to make. Describe the sequence in ordinary language, without sending a customer's repair history, name or purchase documents. For a discussion with retail colleagues, I would bring the distinction between having a process and keeping a particular promise. An organiser could propose a worked example about workshop capacity, lesson appointments or parts availability. A chair considering my contribution would need to discuss employee ownership, my small equity interest and the demands of the operating role before evaluating an appointment. I cannot assess a machine's safety through this example site. Martin is a fictional leader, and the sample address does not open a service desk or an appointment channel.
