An invitation
Begin with the creative business and the decision ahead
A useful introduction would explain the media or subscription business, the decision ahead and why my experience might help. For a board enquiry, please include the ownership context, expected committee contribution, meeting calendar and any significant overlap with production, distribution or investment relationships. I would prefer to understand those matters before exchanging confidential documents. For a speaking invitation, describe the audience and whether the discussion concerns production funding, rights choices or audience economics; the most valuable session usually begins with a shared practical question. I do not use this personal demonstration site to accept production commissions, negotiate catalogue licences or provide individual financial advice. Those requests belong with the appropriate business team or professional adviser. An initial conversation can establish fit, capacity and the right channel for a next step without asking either side to disclose unpublished contracts or customer information prematurely.
