Let the planning record say what was actually observed

I grew up in Aizawl and completed a Bachelor of Science in Geography at the fictional Veqzomti College of Geography in May 2000.

Keep the observed road distinct from the edited record

In 2019 I approved a freshness account for 120 road segments because their records had recently been updated. Fifty-six had recent field observations; sixty-four contained older observations with recent edits. The update date did not establish a new visit. I corrected the account and supported ₹41 lakh of provenance work. The mistake belonged to my approval, not to the existence of useful older evidence that the team had maintained.

I am Lalhmingmawii Qezvarthi, fictional CDO of Tavqelni Route Survey Services in Silchar. Raised in Aizawl, I began in geographical research in 2000 and joined the route-survey enterprise in 2012. Our 169 colleagues provide survey assignments and licensed planning data. I lead twenty-three data colleagues through four leads, connecting the record's meaning with the product we can responsibly offer. Survey operations and qualified authorities retain their actual decisions.

A line crossing another line on a map may not be a junction. A restriction's expected end date is not evidence that it has been lifted. A point can locate a property without locating an entrance, and a source file can be readable without being available for resale. These distinctions are part of the commercial product. My work is to preserve them before a tidy map or a complete-looking dataset makes the underlying uncertainty difficult to see.

The edit date did not renew sixty-four field observations

The 120-segment review retained fifty-six recent observations and sixty-four older ones instead of presenting every maintained record as freshly surveyed. The ₹41 lakh correction changed the provenance account, not the physical road or its approval status.

Fourteen crossings were not connections between roads

Within eighty-six selected crossings, fourteen were grade-separated without a connection and seventy-two were actual junctions in the reviewed evidence. The ₹53 lakh network review retained that distinction; it did not certify every road or provide instructions for a real journey.

A planning product kept thirty-six restricted sources outside redistribution

Of 120 selected source items, eighty-four permitted redistribution under the reviewed terms and thirty-six were for internal research only. A ₹35 lakh programme supported a narrower licensed product, with qualified rights owners retaining interpretation and approval.

Current focus

I am following the entrance-survey programme for forty-eight points that initially comprised thirty road approaches and eighteen parcel centroids. Twenty-nine entrance positions have been verified within the defined review and nineteen remain pending. The ₹62 lakh programme does not turn a point into permission for a particular vehicle to enter, and no relationship between the original groups and the completed subset is inferred without its record.

Conversations I welcome

I am interested in data-leadership, advisory and speaking work where a spatial product's evidence and permitted use matter to the enterprise. I am considering a first company-board contribution, with nineteen days provisionally available. I have not registered in the IICA databank and claim no assessment pass or exemption. Executive presentations are my governance exposure so far; I hold no statutory company seat.

I once treated a recently edited road record as if the road had recently been observed. The file was current; the underlying evidence was not necessarily new. I now ask which event a date describes before allowing it to support a claim about the world outside the database.

The record was newly edited; the road had not been newly observed

Fourteen map crossings did not create fourteen road junctions

The 2022 review covered eighty-six selected crossings in a planning dataset.

An expected end date could not confirm that a restriction had lifted

In 2023 a selected register contained eighty road-restriction records.

In the words of others

Trusted by those who appoint.

In this fictional account, Lalhmingmawii made the freshness correction her own responsibility. She brought the distinction between observation and record maintenance to the enterprise discussion with the programme cost visible, rather than claim that a recent release meant every road had been surveyed again.
Anita VaqzerniFictional CEO, Tavqelni Route Survey Services
The invented entrance programme kept nineteen pending positions alongside the twenty-nine verified results. Lalhmingmawii did not turn a precise point into an access approval or let the original approach and centroid groups silently become entrances. That gave survey operations a clearer account of the work still required.
