The move was finished; the client’s work was not

The sentence I withdrew was attractive because it made a complex workplace change sound complete. We could coordinate a weekend relocation, so the campaign presented Monday business readiness as the natural result. The distinction only became unavoidable when we examined the customer’s unfinished technology work alongside our completed physical move. I had allowed the service description to cross a responsibility boundary without the evidence required to support it.

I completed communication studies at Trevqazni Communications College in May 1997 and joined Drezvathi Client Research the following month. Eight people formed the research group. I prepared interview records and helped compare what buyers said with the questions their colleagues raised. I had no authority to turn that material into public client claims. The work taught me that a concise summary can be accurate about the people interviewed and still leave another important group unheard.

In April 2004 I moved into account communication, with eleven colleagues and ₹1.2 crore annual function expense. We translated research into explanations clients could use in a commercial decision. I learned to preserve the circumstances behind a finding instead of letting a vivid quotation become an answer for every customer. The role also made review responsibility concrete: the person who could explain a service was not always the person who could authorise the promise being made about it.

I joined Qelzavni Workplace Moves in April 2011 as Relocation Marketing Manager. Sixteen colleagues worked within ₹2.7 crore annual function expense. Workplace moves involved a visible event surrounded by less visible dependencies: what the client needed to prepare, which property arrangements remained outstanding and how technology would become usable after equipment arrived. Marketing could help organise those questions before an enquiry became a commitment. It could also conceal them if a convenient phrase made the whole change appear to belong to the relocation company.

Promotion to Head of Brand and Client Communication followed in April 2017, with twenty colleagues and ₹4.1 crore annual function expense. In 2019 I approved the weekend-to-Monday claim. Twelve reviewed programmes showed nine clients ready for their defined work and three still awaiting technology activation under their own arrangements. A ₹43 lakh, eight-week correction revised the campaign and the customer handover account. We did not retrospectively improve those outcomes. We changed the promise and the material a later customer would receive before relying on it.

I became CMO in April 2022. In 2023 we examined a desk-count pricing illustration across thirty-two enquiries. Twenty fitted its defined assumptions, while twelve involved archive volumes or access arrangements that required a survey. The ₹51 lakh, ten-week programme replaced an apparently complete answer with a bounded illustration and a clear route for the remaining enquiries. Those figures described the review, not orders won or a fall in actual service prices. A comparable number needed comparable scope, even when the qualified answer took longer to obtain.

In 2025 we reviewed the research behind a workplace-change communication offer. Six buyer interviews had described procurement and move-coordination needs. Thirty-six separate employee interviews introduced journey and working-pattern questions that the buyer account had not represented. A ₹37 lakh, nine-week programme changed the material supplied and identified which questions belonged with the employer. We did not claim employee approval of the move or a measured rise in satisfaction. The work made the limits of our original research visible and gave the client a more useful basis for its own communication.

The most useful review often begins with the person whose responsibility has disappeared from the summary. Bringing that owner back into the discussion makes the missing condition concrete enough to resolve before publication.

Today twenty-four marketing colleagues work through three heads within ₹5.6 crore annual expense. Joseph Qelvazri leads the company and Nisha Vezqalri owns operating delivery. I hold no equity or statutory director seat. In reviews I ask the presenter to identify the customer decision the copy is meant to support and the responsibility that remains outside our service. That question can make a campaign less sweeping and more useful at the same time. A future outside-board contribution would require unfinished governance preparation, an appropriate chair and an appointment-specific assessment. I want to contribute where directors are willing to examine the boundary of a persuasive proposition before its repetition makes the missing responsibility someone else’s unexpected problem.

A leadership conviction

A service promise should make the next responsibility easier to see. If the customer can only discover its boundary after buying, the marketing has left part of the job unfinished.

Perspectives from colleagues

Farzana makes the responsibility behind a service promise visible. She will give up a convenient headline when it asks the customer to believe more than we have established.

She revised the Monday-readiness campaign after we separated the physical move from client technology activation. The customer could then see the work that still needed its own owner.
