Opening a board conversation

A short note is the best way to begin. Please tell me the company, whether it is listed, the committee you have in mind and the technology or data question that prompted the approach. If you are a search firm, I would like to know the client's name before a first call so that I can check it against my supplier list. I usually reply within a week. I cannot discuss Kemaruna Fibre's suppliers, contracts or subscriber information, and I cannot help with a broadband connection, a bill or an installation; our customer service team handles those. I do not accept paid advisory work, panel places or reference calls from technology vendors. Speaking requests go to our corporate communications team, who weigh them against my executive calendar. Board conversations can take place in Penang, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, or by video.
