CMS, TReDS and Channel-Finance GTM Gates mandate in Mumbai, India · Banking Services

Create a five-month transaction-banking go-to-market operating package, translating cash-management, receivables-platform and channel-finance opportunities into tested readiness gates, responsibility maps and sponsor-accepted programme evidence rather than sales or credit execution.

The mandate

Transaction-banking opportunities move from commercial interest to launch with inconsistent readiness checks across cash management, receivables platforms and channel finance. The consultant will design a go-to-market operating package for those handoffs. The task is to make approval conditions and service capability testable, not to sell products, approve credit or implement a new technology platform.

The deliverable is a CMS and Channel-Finance GTM Gatebook with customer-segment hypotheses, product-readiness evidence, onboarding responsibility maps and retained-risk checkpoints. TReDS-related workflows will be treated according to the approved product and participation context supplied by specialists. The gatebook must show precisely which conditions permit progression and which owner can decide an exception.

The contract starts on 19 October 2026. Milestone one on 4 December 2026 provides the opportunity-to-readiness baseline; milestone two on 29 January 2027 delivers draft gates and a controlled programme rehearsal; milestone three on 18 March 2027 completes operator validation, revised artefacts and accepted residual dependencies. The fixed fee is billed 25%, 35% and 40% against accepted stages.

The transaction banking head and risk programme sponsor jointly accept the package. They must run a representative opportunity through the gates, identify retained credit and compliance approvals and expose an operating constraint before a customer commitment is made. Final acceptance requires internal product and onboarding teams to use the guide on a fresh case without consultant interpretation.

The sponsor supplies approved product rules, anonymised opportunity cases, onboarding procedures and access to authorised risk and operations reviewers. Regulatory interpretation is supplied by the appropriate specialists, not invented by the consultant. Credit decisions, partner contracting, customer acquisition and production system changes are excluded; additional product scope requires signed change control and revised acceptance tests.

What you will own

  • Catalogue opportunity-to-launch handoffs across cash management, receivables-platform and channel-finance cases, identifying unowned readiness assumptions before drafting a common programme-gate structure or implementation recommendation.
  • Define customer and product hypotheses with evidence requirements, separating commercial interest from demonstrated workflow demand and the capability needed to sustain recurring transaction activity.
  • Map onboarding, operating and retained-risk responsibilities so a completed commercial checklist cannot replace authorised credit, compliance or product approval before a customer promise.
  • Construct progression and hold criteria with named approvers, preserving legitimate product differences rather than forcing every transaction-banking service through identical control and readiness steps.
  • Rehearse the gatebook on difficult cases involving partner dependency, incomplete onboarding or unsupported service promises, recording the decision owner and conditions for reconsideration.
  • Validate product and operations teams on a fresh opportunity, observing whether they recognise an exception and route it correctly without relying on consultant judgement.
  • Deliver the accepted gatebook, maintenance triggers and programme review guide, with unresolved regulatory or technology dependencies clearly distinguished from completed operating-model design work.

Candidate qualifications

  • Demonstrate transaction-banking product or vertical leadership with hands-on programme design across cash management, supply-chain or channel finance. Provide a redacted launch-readiness artefact that changed a commercial decision. Relationship management alone is insufficient unless supported by evidence of translating product, operations and retained-risk conditions into an executable handoff.
  • Show understanding of receivables financing and TReDS-related workflows at the relevant approved-product level, recognising when specialist regulatory or legal input is required. Explain a case where product eligibility and operational readiness differed. Candidates must not confuse go-to-market design with credit approval or claim that a commercial programme guide can authorise financing.
  • Provide project delivery evidence with dated outputs, a controlled rehearsal and objective reviewer acceptance. Describe an operating gate that failed in testing and how the method changed. The consultant must be able to build usable artefacts with product and risk reviewers while remaining outside customer sales execution and technology delivery authority.
  • Establish thirty years of relevant career evidence, confidentiality and independence from platform, partner or referral remuneration. Show a transfer that internal teams could operate on new cases. The project requires senior vertical judgement, not assumed enterprise finance authority, and no contingent fee tied to approved programme volume or financed transactions is permitted.
