Foresight members see it first
The seat opens first to our Foresight members — the directors most actively preparing for board appointments, with complete profiles and CVs.
- Step 4 Fewer than 6 qualified?
Then every member, if you need more
If fewer than 6 qualified directors have applied after 24 hours, the seat opens to every member of the Exchange. If you already have enough, it stays with Foresight.

Is it really free? How do you make money?+
Yes. There is no fee to post, no success fee and no charge per candidate, and candidates never pay to apply. Directors pay for Foresight membership, and companies that want us to run the whole search can choose a retained search — that is how the Exchange is funded.
Who can post a role?+
Listed companies, unlisted public companies, private companies and PSUs — posted by the company secretary, the board office, HR or a promoter authorised by the company. We confirm your work email and verify the company before anything goes live.
Can we post without naming the company?+
Yes. Choose to keep the company name off the public listing and directors see the sector, size and seat instead. We still verify you privately.
What does a candidate need to apply?+
A complete profile, a CV, an independence declaration and answers to your must-have questions. A DIN is not required to apply — first-time directors often don't hold one yet, and obtain it before appointment.
What exactly do you screen?+
Your stated requirements and must-have questions, plus what the law and the filings tell us: the limit on how many boards a director may sit on, independence and cooling-off periods, and whether the candidate already sits on your board. Candidates who clear it reach you; the rest are told which requirement they missed.
How quickly will we see candidates?+
As soon as the posting is live and a qualified director applies — each one reaches your inbox the moment they clear screening, not in a weekly batch.
