A useful introduction describes the proposed commitment and the decision that has made it worth examining. For a board enquiry, outline the enterprise, the chair's expectations and the perspective you believe my experience could add. I would assess relationships, employer consent and the preparation required before considering private papers or a commitment to serve. For a workshop or strategic discussion, identify the choice between ownership, integration, partnership or a different sequence of work. The fictional cases can support a focused conversation without sharing customer production records or unpublished proposals. Please keep those materials with their authorised owners at the introductory stage.
