Discuss the promise that makes equipment useful

01

When a busy fleet cannot deliver the service it has sold

35-minute keynote and 20-minute discussion · COOs, CFOs and directors of asset-owning service enterprises

This session examines a leasing business that improved its placement figure while depending on uncertain returns to meet replacement commitments. I discuss the decision to hold 48 reserve units, the ₹9.6 crore capital cost and the later record of 43 timely callouts from 62 events. The nineteen unsuccessful cases remain central to the discussion. Participants consider what the utilisation measure describes, what it leaves out and how an investment proposal should connect stock, geography, compatibility and dispatch. The case does not imply that more reserve equipment is always preferable or that every successful replacement prevented a measurable loss. Finance's challenge about alternative uses of capital receives a full hearing. The session uses a fictional portfolio and requires no customer records. Its purpose is to help an executive team explain the service obligation behind an asset category and identify what evidence would justify changing the arrangement after the initial purchase has been approved.

02

Three different questions at the end of an equipment lease

50-minute facilitated operating case workshop · Asset-service leaders, commercial teams and finance professionals responsible for customer accounts

Participants separate the agreed off-hire event, physical collection and responsibility for return condition. A review of 73 notices and ₹16.4 lakh in corrected charges shows why the truck's arrival was not a sufficient answer for every contract. A second example distinguishes a repair estimate from a supported customer allocation. The workshop keeps contractual interpretation, technical assessment and accounting treatment with the appropriate owners, while examining the operating records needed for their decisions. It does not offer a universal rule that notice ends rent or that every disputed condition charge should be waived. Groups work through a fictional sequence and identify which event each proposed measure can establish. The discussion is intended to improve the account presented to executives and customers without asking attendees to share live contracts or disputes. A useful outcome is a clearer distinction between necessary asset work and the evidence for charging a particular party for it.

03

The customer pays the energy bill your purchase decision creates

40-minute case conversation with procurement, finance and technical perspectives · Leasing executives, equipment buyers and leaders of commercial service portfolios

A purchase of 26 display cabinets presented a ₹91 lakh offer and a ₹1.04 crore alternative with a qualified comparative energy result. The company accepted the ₹13 lakh capital premium while preserving the limits of the test and avoiding a fixed customer-savings promise. This session explores the decision when the party buying an asset does not bear every operating cost it creates. Participants examine why the cheaper offer was reasonable to consider, what evidence supported the alternative and how the findings should remain qualified in the customer proposition. The case does not establish a universal preference for higher-priced equipment or prescribe a technical standard for an attendee's site. Engineers, finance and commercial owners retain their respective judgements. Using fictional figures, the discussion connects capital discipline with actual use and asks what later observations would lead management to revise the purchase rationale or the claims made about the asset.

04

A signed order is not a prepared installation site

45-minute operating-leadership roundtable · COOs, project leaders and commercial executives coordinating asset placements

The discussion follows a programme of 28 placements in which nine sites still required preparation despite signed acceptance and equipment availability. I explain why dispatching the units would not have resolved access, utilities or the agreed installation conditions, and why the company accepted ₹39 lakh in coordination and rescheduling costs. The other nineteen placements proceeded separately. Participants consider the point at which technical findings should change a commercial timetable and how to explain the resulting delay without shifting every responsibility to the customer. The case preserves professional boundaries: qualified engineers assess suitability, customers retain premises and product duties, and operations coordinates the plan. It does not claim a safety certification or quantified loss avoided. The session uses invented material and asks no participant to disclose site drawings or private contracts. Its purpose is to make the conditions behind an operating commitment visible before an order and a stock count are mistaken for a complete delivery plan.

Short speaker biography

Arman Qezlavi is the fictional COO of Qevthari Commercial Leasing in Vadodara. He leads 210 operations colleagues and examines the relationship between asset capital, customer service and operating evidence. His thirty-two-year career began in maintenance-service coordination. Proposed talks use invented cases on reserves, site readiness and return obligations; they do not imply documented appearances or technical authority beyond his operating remit.

Standard speaker biography

Arman Qezlavi is the fictional Chief Operating Officer of Qevthari Commercial Leasing, an owner and lessor of commercial refrigeration equipment based in Vadodara. He leads 210 operations colleagues through five heads, with operations expense kept separate from the company's fleet-capital approvals. His career began in 1994 in maintenance-service coordination and developed through regional management, service operations and a functional operating directorship. His demonstration cases examine utilisation, replacement reserves, off-hire events, return-condition evidence and the customer costs affected by equipment purchasing. Arman has presented to directors but holds no statutory seat. His fictional IICA proficiency assessment was passed in June 2026. The proposed sessions describe subjects for discussion, not a record of real conferences, publications or professional engineering advice.

Extended speaker biography

Arman Qezlavi is the fictional COO of Qevthari Commercial Leasing in Vadodara. The company owns commercial refrigeration equipment placed with enterprise customers and does not operate as a bank, lender or public deposit taker. Arman leads 210 operations colleagues through five heads within a ₹54 crore FY 2026–27 expense remit. The separate ₹42 crore fleet-capital programme is approved through company governance rather than his unilateral authority.

Originally from Lucknow, he completed a commerce degree in 1994 and began in maintenance-service coordination. He became a regional service manager before joining the lessor in 2007, taking a functional operating directorship in 2014 and the COO role in 2021. The career account explains how continuing asset ownership changed his view of service, return records and capital productivity. It also retains his earlier preference for maximising placements and the later reasons for holding replacement reserves.

His proposed speaking subjects connect rental terms, physical events and the evidence behind management claims. They include decisions that lowered charges, increased capital outlay or left failures visible after an investment. Qualified technical, legal and financial owners retain their responsibilities throughout the examples. Arman has no statutory directorship; fictional databank registration began in January 2026 and the assessment was passed in June. The profile and its proposed appearances are invented demonstrations, with no claim to real publication credits or confidential customer experience.

I am interested in one outside board contribution where asset services and capital discipline need to be considered together. I have no statutory seat. My fictional databank registration and assessment are complete, but suitability, independence and twenty-six provisional days of capacity still require a specific appointment review.
