The component your formulation chart left out
I use the four-blend case to examine the explanation a chart invites its audience to accept. Participants see A increasing from 6% to 9%, B decreasing from 64% to 61% and C remaining at 30%. The totals are correct, but the comparison does not isolate an independent effect initially attributed to A. We discuss what information belongs beside the response and what a revised study would need to establish before a stronger claim could be made. The session includes my withdrawn approval and the ₹32 lakh review commitment, so the exercise concerns leadership and resources as well as statistical interpretation. Participants can work through how they would explain the change to a product team and an approving board. No recipe or food-safety recommendation is offered. The intended outcome is a more precise way to connect an experimental question, its available comparison and the product promise built on it, while retaining the relevant scientific responsibilities and the cost of asking a better question.
