Start with the choice your organisation needs to make

I welcome a discussion where product ambition and engineering ownership need to be considered together. A useful introduction explains the company's business, the decision or appointment under consideration and the reason my experience may be relevant. For a board role, please distinguish a director appointment from an advisory engagement and provide the expected calendar, committee work and relationship considerations. I have no current directorship and would assess a proposed twenty-four-day annual commitment against the actual circumstances. For speaking, identify the audience and the product question you want it to examine; a session about inference economics differs from a workshop on client variation. I would rather begin with a clear scope and an honest account of the work than a broad promise about what technology can deliver. The profiles and case figures on this demonstration site are fictional examples, not representations of a real executive's availability or performance.
