Bring the business owner into the technology question

01

What did the confirmation actually confirm?

Proposed 60-minute executive case discussion · CIOs, service owners and customer-experience leaders

Participants examine an invented customer interface that confirms receipt before the responsible business owner has accepted the request. The group identifies the event the system can substantiate, the stronger inference a recipient may draw and the responsibilities needed to close the gap. The approving executive's part in the mistake remains in the case, alongside the cost and unfinished consequences of correcting it.

The proposed output is a short description of a service status that business and technology owners can both defend, together with the questions they need to answer before release. The discussion uses synthetic requests and does not assess real cooling commitments or contractual disputes. It is a fictional session proposal with no asserted delivery history or audience endorsement. An organiser would agree the audience and suitable materials in advance. Source code, customer records and confidential service agreements are unnecessary for the exercise; qualified owners remain responsible for decisions in an actual enterprise.

02

A source archive and a maintainable service are different propositions

Proposed 75-minute supplier-arrangement workshop · Technology leaders, procurement sponsors and business-service owners

This proposed workshop gives participants a fictional source-deposit proposition and asks what the receiving enterprise could actually do if it needed to maintain the service. Teams distinguish possession of files, permission to use relevant components, reproducibility and the people or dependencies required for continuing operation. The exercise does not assume that independence from a supplier is always feasible or worth its cost.

Participants prepare a decision account that separates demonstrated capability, unfinished dependencies, continuing support and the next review. Legal rights and commercial obligations remain matters for qualified advisers on the actual facts. No real code, supplier credentials or proprietary architecture is required. This is an invented format, not a claim of accredited training or a delivered engagement. A real organiser would confirm scope and participant responsibilities beforehand. The useful result is a more precise maintenance proposition, including the conditions under which retaining supplier support may be the responsible choice rather than an admission of failed technology leadership.

03

When the release is ready but the receiving team is not

Proposed 50-minute cross-function planning dialogue · Finance partners, programme sponsors and application leaders

The dialogue uses an invented enterprise-system consolidation that competes with a finance close for the receiving team's attention. Participants distinguish technical readiness from business capacity to absorb a change, then compare delay, reduced scope and additional support. They retain the cost of an overlap period instead of describing postponement as a free way to remove risk.

The intended output is an approval account showing the business deadline, the work required from the receiving team and the owner of any remaining acceptance decision. The exercise does not change reporting obligations or certify a finance process. It uses synthetic figures and avoids real account data, credentials or private close schedules. This fictional proposal makes no claim of prior delivery or measurable client savings. An organiser would agree materials and audience before a session. Participants should leave with a practical way to discuss competing obligations, rather than a universal rule that every difficult release must be delayed.

04

The customer still connected when the retirement notice expires

Proposed 60-minute service-transition roundtable · Enterprise technology executives, commercial owners and board candidates

A synthetic interface-retirement case separates customers with a verified replacement route, scheduled work and no agreed plan. Participants examine what a notice establishes and what it leaves open, then consider a bounded extension alongside the costs and dependencies of continued support. The discussion gives the remaining customers distinct circumstances instead of treating them as a single resistant group.

The proposed output is a transition decision with named ownership, evidence for the next review and an intelligible account of what the additional period can achieve. The session does not determine contractual rights or prescribe an extension length for every service. No actual customer connection details or system access is needed. It is an invented speaking format with no asserted bookings, endorsements or professional certification. A real organiser would agree appropriate participants and synthetic material. The exercise should help an approving forum understand remaining reliance without turning customer concern into an unlimited commitment to retain an older service.

Short speaker biography

Farooq Zevqarth is a fictional Kota-based CIO in district-cooling services. His thirty-four-year career examines the business meaning of digital commitments, supplier maintenance and customer transitions. He retains an interface approval he got wrong. Proposed sessions use synthetic cases and claim no real speaking appearances, client results or professional accreditation.

Standard speaker biography

Farooq Zevqarth is the invented CIO of Rezqavthi Cooling Networks in Kota. He leads thirty-eight technology employees through five leads and coordinates nine external specialists separately. His ₹5.6 crore annual operating envelope and ₹2.4 crore change programme are distinct from the enterprise's ₹78 crore FY 2026 revenue.

His cases concern request confirmations, source-deposit capability, portal usability, receiving-team capacity and customer-interface retirement. Plant engineering and cooling commitments remain with their qualified owners. He holds 0.3% of total equity and no statutory seat. His databank registration is stated separately from an unfinished proficiency assessment. The proposed speaking formats are fictional discussion designs, not evidence of delivered engagements or third-party endorsement.

Extended speaker biography

Farooq Zevqarth is a fictional information leader raised in Bhopal and now based in Kota. After completing a computer-science degree in May 1992, he began work as a business-application developer. Application management, business-systems leadership and a functional platform-director appointment preceded his May 2021 promotion to CIO. The director title did not represent a statutory board seat.

At the invented Rezqavthi Cooling Networks, he leads thirty-eight technology employees through five leads, with nine external specialists counted separately. He carries a ₹5.6 crore annual operating envelope and a distinct ₹2.4 crore change programme. The company has 380 employees and seven plants with 31 MW thermal cooling capacity. Its ₹78 crore FY 2026 revenue combines fixed and variable cooling-service fees; the capacity figure does not describe electricity generation.

His cases examine how software represents commitments and whether the receiving party can use the service it is offered. One preserves his approval of a request acknowledgement that implied business acceptance too early. He holds 0.3% of total equity and no statutory seat. IICA databank registration in January 2026 is not presented as a proficiency-assessment pass or exemption. A potential outside contribution remains subject to preparation, relationships and capacity. Speaking sessions are invented proposals using synthetic material, with no actual appearances or client outcomes claimed.
