Chief Information Officer Japan
Board enquiries, peer notes and the subjects I keep private
In Japanese trucking, the decision that keeps a driver within the law is taken at the dispatch desk, so that is where my systems must be strictest.
I hope to hear from three groups. First, a nomination committee or search partner considering an outside director for a listed Japanese company outside logistics and automotive supply, especially one renewing old systems or recovering from an incident. Please tell me the company, the committee you have in mind, the meeting calendar and any relationship it has with Seriyama, its customers or its technology vendors, so that I can check for conflicts before we speak. Second, CIOs and operating executives who want to compare notes on dispatch and working-hours rules, shipper data agreements or contracting with integrators. Third, organisers inviting me to speak to logistics, transport or technology audiences.
I cannot discuss Seriyama's unpublished results, named customers, vendor negotiations or security arrangements. I do not take sales approaches from integrators or software vendors through this page, and I am not considering executive roles while the settlement renewal is unfinished. I read every message myself and reply in Japanese or English, usually within ten days.
