Chief Marketing Officer Japan

Before you write: what I can discuss and what I must decline

In home delivery the most useful marketing changes what a customer does before the van leaves the depot, not what they think after it arrives.

If you are a nomination committee chair or an adviser to a board, the most useful first message tells me three things: the company and the seat, the committees involved, and any relationship the company has with Kazemachi, its competitors, its largest shippers or its station and airport partners. With those I can check conflicts and ask my president for consent before we meet, which is how I would want to begin.

I am glad to hear from marketing and customer leaders in transport, travel and consumer services who want to compare notes on delivery choices, price communication, impersonation fraud or research with older customers, and from municipalities interested in rural delivery contracts. I also accept a few speaking invitations each year.

There are conversations I must decline. I cannot discuss Kazemachi's unpublished results, shipper contracts or rate negotiations, and I do not take calls about investing in the company or about executive roles elsewhere. Please write through the contact route on this page; I reply myself, in Japanese or English, usually within a week.
