Chief Financial Officer United States

What to send me, and what I must decline

Software margins were built on features that cost nothing to use twice; my job now is to price the ones that do, and to count every share we pay with.

If you chair a nomination committee or lead a board search, I would like to hear about an independent seat of the kind set out on my Board Readiness page. A useful first note names the company, the committee it wants filled and its fiscal calendar, since its quarter-ends and ours must not collide. Mention any business the company does with veterinary hospitals, pet insurers, card processors or AI model providers; that lets me rule out a conflict before either of us spends an hour on a call. Finance chiefs and audit committee members wrestling with metered AI costs, equity budgets or backlog reporting are equally welcome to get in touch, and so are organisers of CFO, audit and compensation events looking for a speaker.

Some subjects stay closed. Brindlewood's unreleased results, guidance, pricing plans and anything else not yet public are off the table, and investing in the company is not something I discuss. Recruiters for executive roles will find me settled where I am. Replies come from me personally, normally inside a fortnight.
