Begin with what the service must establish

An operating-leadership enquiry should explain the technical service offered, the customer decision it supports and the responsibilities assigned to the role. I would want to understand the facilities, management team, expenditure delegation and relationship between commercial commitments and technical authority. A possible board conversation should describe the contribution sought, committee work, preparation expected and connections that may affect independence. I am interested in the operating model rather than an informal request to approve a product or interpret confidential test results. This is an invented executive profile without a working contact channel. A real leader adapting it should provide an approved professional route and accurate qualifications and appointment status. Detailed customer evidence belongs in a suitably authorised process after both parties have established the purpose and confidentiality of the discussion.
