Chief Technology Officer India
Which answer is your model not yet entitled to give?
I develop energy-planning software whose forecasts, constraints and time resolution must support the decision being proposed, before a polished result becomes a customer promise.
Bring the decision your model is meant to support, together with the result you are least comfortable explaining. That might be a forecast whose evaluation knows too much, a recommendation that misses a declared constraint or a summary that removes the peak a user cares about. An initial outline should identify the intended user and the evidence question without exposing proprietary models or customer datasets. For a CTO mandate, describe the authority of quality review and how a limitation can change a release decision. For a board enquiry, explain the oversight need, preparation expectations and calendar alongside my executive responsibilities and beneficial interest. I would want those relationships assessed before protected discussions proceed. The first exchange should establish whether the organisation is willing to let a better-defined question change its preferred technical answer, and who owns the decisions that follow.
