Start with the question before sharing the respondent file

Describe the audience question your enterprise needs evidence to answer and the decision that will depend on it. I would like to understand who was recruited, how responses were collected and whether the intended comparison changes any of those conditions. An initial conversation can use an anonymised study outline rather than respondent records or private client material. For a data-leadership mandate, explain the relationship between methodology, commercial approval and the product a client receives. For a first outside-board discussion, describe the oversight question, the chair’s expectations and the learning and time required alongside my executive role. I cannot turn an incomplete recruitment frame into broader evidence through an appointment. I can help examine whether the claim a decision relies on remains faithful to the records and design that support it.
