What must remain true after your system changes?

Which meaning must survive your next system change? That is where I would begin a conversation: a calendar day, the relationship between a label and a value, or a decision that a document is no longer current. Describe the business task and the acceptance question in ordinary language before sharing technical designs or protected records. A CIO mandate should explain who owns the underlying contracts, documents and professional decisions, as well as the delivery team and investment authority. A board enquiry should identify the oversight gap and expected calendar; my preparation for a first statutory appointment remains unfinished. Employment and supplier relationships would need assessment before confidential discussions progress.
