The Executive Passport in London
A private map of board and C-suite mandates where legal-entity accountability, listed-company governance, regulated approval and cross-border authority meet.
The London distinction
A global title becomes a local seat only when the board can name the entity, committee, regulator and first decision
London leadership searches often begin with a global label and end in a much narrower office. A group CFO may hold listed-company reporting and capital-market authority while a regulated subsidiary has its own accountable finance leader. A technology executive may own enterprise architecture while operational resilience, consumer duty or clinical records remain with separate legal entities and qualified owners. A CMO may lead a global brand but not the local regulated communication.
The Executive Passport starts with the Mandate Charter because title equivalence is unreliable here. It fixes the employer and entities, board and committee interfaces, applicable approvals, geographic perimeter, delegated authorities, inherited conditions and the first consequential decision. Candidate evidence is then assessed against that office rather than against the prestige of the current employer.
The pages below cover five sectors and six roles from two different reader positions. Jobs dossiers are written for sitting leaders deciding whether a confidential move is worth examining. Executive-search reviews are written for boards selecting a provider and governing a fair, consent-led process. They cross-link by combination but do not target the same intent.
London evidence boundary
FCA, PRA, Companies House, NHS, MHRA, employment and advertising sources inform cases without turning assessment into advice
Each London page identifies the named public materials consulted for its own combination and renders those citations as text, never outbound links. Banking pages distinguish dual-regulated, solo-regulated and group questions. Healthcare and life-sciences pages preserve the boundary between board judgment and clinical, quality or regulatory ownership. Industrial and technology pages trace product, operational, workforce and cyber decisions through the authority actually available.
No page infers a live vacancy, employer, compensation range or search timetable from market activity. Where the authorised Charter register has no comparable seat, the page says so. Membership price comes from the role and London market bands; payment never purchases visibility, ranking, interview or appointment.

Use the market map
Choose the combination whose authority problem matches the real seat, then move only through consent
Start with the industry and role, not a generic London executive-jobs page. Read the Jobs dossier when protecting an incumbent position and testing personal fit. Read the Search review when authorising a mandate, comparing named provider teams or preparing a common finalist case.
