- Geography
- Ujjain base with regional customer programmes
- Reporting to
- CEO Meera Qezlormi
- Team
- Sixteen marketing colleagues through three leads
- Financial scope
- ₹3.6 crore annual authority including campaign and proposition programmes
Mandate
Make the enterprise's service proposition intelligible across customer handover, location responsibility and portfolio evidence.
Outcomes
- Qualified the description of ten service locations: seven company-run and three partner-run.
- Published fifty-three cleared portfolio items and retained seven outside the public collection.
- Agreed a forty-eight-vehicle fleet programme in cohorts of fourteen, eighteen and sixteen.
- Kept dealer introductions visible within thirty-six orders whose final interaction was online.
Decisions in context
The CMO role widened my responsibility from brand presentation to the way the enterprise explains its offer throughout a customer relationship. I lead three marketing leads and their teams, while Meera and Daniel retain their enterprise and operating responsibilities. The annual authority includes the campaign and proposition programmes described in this profile; those amounts should not be added again as if they were separate function budgets. Recent work has involved partner locations, the provenance of portfolio images, a phased fleet conversion and the interpretation of online orders. Each requires marketing to work with an owner whose decision cannot be replaced by a persuasive message. I want the buyer to understand what is actually being offered and the executive team to understand what its reporting leaves out. That responsibility also means resisting claims of improved trust or sales when the evidence establishes only that a description or record has been corrected.
Reason for the move
Current executive responsibility; considering an initial governance contribution alongside it.

Head of brand
Zeqnarmi Fleet Graphics
Apr 2014 — Mar 2020
- Sector
- Regional vehicle-livery and graphics services
- Ownership
- Fictional privately held graphics enterprise
- Company scale
- ₹49 crore FY2018 revenue
- Employees
- 133 employees at FY2018 scale
- Geography
- Ujjain and regional service assignments
- Reporting to
- Chief executive officer
- Team
- Eleven marketing and brand colleagues
- Financial scope
- ₹1.9 crore annual authority
Mandate
Develop the service proposition and align customer-facing descriptions with the scope of the operating offer.
Outcomes
- Led eleven colleagues within ₹1.9 crore annual authority.
- Accepted responsibility for a forty-eight-hour fleet-rebrand claim based on two working days of installation.
- Retained the six-working-day complete handover from the four-vehicle pilot.
- Supported a ₹39 lakh proposition and communication correction without inventing a universal replacement lead time.
Decisions in context
As head of brand I became accountable for the message that joined several parts of the service into one customer promise. The 2018 campaign exposed an error in my own approval. We had observed two working days of installation in a four-vehicle pilot, but I allowed that result to become a forty-eight-hour fleet-rebrand claim. The complete handover took six working days. Both the scope and the unit had changed as the story became shorter. I recommended withdrawing the claim and supported the cost of explaining the correction to colleagues who had already prepared to sell it. The lesson was not to replace every short number with a longer one. It was to establish which stages, conditions and responsibilities a buyer would reasonably think the message included. That experience became the basis of my later approach to portfolio evidence and phased customer programmes.
Reason for the move
Appointed CMO with broader commercial proposition and reporting responsibility.

Marketing manager
Zeqnarmi Fleet Graphics
Jan 2007 — Mar 2014
- Sector
- Fleet graphics installation and related customer services
- Ownership
- Fictional private regional enterprise
- Company scale
- ₹26 crore FY2011 revenue
- Employees
- 88 employees at FY2011 scale
- Geography
- Ujjain customer and service base
- Reporting to
- Commercial director
- Team
- Seven marketing colleagues
- Financial scope
- ₹76 lakh annual authority
Mandate
Translate the graphics service into customer materials grounded in the work the operating team could deliver.
Outcomes
- Managed seven colleagues within ₹76 lakh annual authority.
- Connected customer materials with installation, removal and repair responsibilities.
- Learned to distinguish a proposed visual treatment from evidence of completed customer work.
Decisions in context
Moving into the graphics enterprise brought me closer to the work represented by the campaign. An account-planning presentation could end when the client approved it; a fleet customer still needed vehicles, access, preparation and a practical handover. I managed seven colleagues and worked under the commercial director to develop materials around those dependencies. The role introduced me to the difference between an appealing design proposal and a record of something already installed. It also showed why a marketing team needs operating colleagues before a message is fixed, not merely when it requires a final factual check. I did not become an installation or vehicle-approval specialist. My responsibility was to ask enough about the service to describe it honestly and to leave the relevant technical decisions with their owners. That period gave my brand work a more concrete customer context.
Reason for the move
Promoted to head of brand as the enterprise's service proposition expanded.

Account planner
Tazqelmi Brand Services
Sept 1999 — Dec 2006
- Sector
- Brand research and account planning
- Ownership
- Fictional privately owned services firm
- Company scale
- ₹16 crore FY2003 revenue
- Employees
- 63 employees at FY2003 scale
- Geography
- Regional client assignments in India
- Reporting to
- Planning director
- Team
- Four planning colleagues
- Financial scope
- ₹28 lakh annual team authority
Mandate
Connect audience research with a proposition that a client could explain and support.
Outcomes
- Led four colleagues within ₹28 lakh annual team authority.
- Separated what a research participant had said from the wider inference proposed for a campaign.
- Worked with account owners to identify evidence still needed before adopting a claim.
Decisions in context
Account planning added responsibility for how research became a recommendation. I led four colleagues under the planning director and had a defined team budget. A memorable quotation or a clear pattern in a small assignment could become more persuasive than its evidence warranted once it appeared in a campaign presentation. I learned to keep the question, audience and limits beside the proposed interpretation. The client still decided its service and commercial commitments; our role was to help it make the proposition understandable. Over time I wanted to see what happened after a message left the agency. I became interested in the practical distance between approving a brand idea and delivering the service that made it credible. Joining Zeqnarmi offered that opportunity and changed the centre of my work from campaign recommendation to the continuing relationship between an enterprise and its buyers.
Reason for the move
Joined a service enterprise to follow the customer proposition beyond agency approval.

Research assistant
Tazqelmi Brand Services
Jul 1993 — Aug 1999
- Sector
- Commercial research and brand-support services
- Ownership
- Fictional private research and planning firm
- Company scale
- ₹5 crore FY1996 revenue
- Employees
- 29 employees at FY1996 scale
- Geography
- Regional research assignments in India
- Reporting to
- Research manager
- Team
- Individual contributor under research supervision
- Financial scope
- No delegated spending authority
Mandate
Prepare research records that preserved the question, participant context and limits of an observation.
Outcomes
- Joined in July 1993 after completing the commerce degree that May.
- Prepared research material under a manager without delegated expenditure authority.
- Learned to distinguish a participant's account from a claim about the whole customer market.
Decisions in context
My first appointment was supervised research work, not a leadership role with a budget. I prepared records, helped organise material and learned to ask what an observation could reasonably support. The most useful discipline was preserving context when a shorter quotation sounded more decisive. A participant might be describing one occasion, one provider or a particular inconvenience; changing that account into a statement about every customer would change its meaning. I had no authority to make the client's commercial decisions. The task was to give the research manager a reliable account from which a recommendation could be developed. Those early years gave me a practical respect for the gap between what people have actually said and what a campaign team would like to say on their behalf. That habit remained useful when the evidence later concerned service stages, portfolio images and order histories.
Reason for the move
Promoted to account planning with responsibility for a small team.
What I am looking for next
I would welcome a marketing or advisory responsibility in a service enterprise whose offer depends on several teams, locations or stages that the customer cannot easily see. My contribution would be to make those dependencies part of the proposition before a polished message hides them. I would first want to understand who delivers the service, what evidence supports the public portfolio and how the enterprise describes unfinished work. I am also considering an initial company-board role alongside my current appointment. Twenty-two days is a provisional capacity estimate that must include induction, reading and urgent matters. I registered in the IICA databank in August 2025 and passed the proficiency assessment in March 2026; those steps do not establish suitability or independence for a particular seat. A serious conversation would examine the company, relationships, actual responsibilities and available time. I would bring a record that includes a claim I had to withdraw, rather than imply that every brand decision I have made was correct.
