Describe the decision behind the financial question
A useful introduction would describe the decision your board or leadership audience is trying to understand. It might concern the financial meaning of a subscription, an obligation inside a supplier contract, a research portfolio choice or a management measure that has become too broad. Please begin with a nonconfidential outline of the enterprise and proposed responsibility, rather than client research files, unpublished forecasts, individual investment details or contractual data supplied under another party's restrictions. I would assess whether my finance experience is relevant and what other professional or operating knowledge the discussion requires. I have no statutory seat and provisionally reserve twenty-six days, subject to employer consent and relationship review. A speaking brief should identify its audience and purpose. An initial conversation would explore fit; it would not provide personal investment recommendations, accept a board appointment or authorise access to a company's confidential research.
