Start with the decision your customer needs to explain
My most useful starting point is the account a buyer must defend internally. For partition projects, the facilities manager, procurement colleague and eventual users may be evaluating different things even when they are looking at the same brochure. Tell me which choice has become difficult to explain, and what evidence the buying group can actually use. A description of the disagreement is more helpful than a confidential quotation or an identifiable customer photograph. I am interested in conversations about marketing that gives a commercial decision a sound basis: the extent of an installed proposition, permission to use a reference, or the practical meaning of a demonstration. Engineering colleagues must still determine suitability, and sales must own contractual commitments. A prospective board approach should also explain how my manufacturing-marketing experience would complement the other directors. My shareholding, executive responsibilities and capacity would need examination before proceeding. This is an invented executive's sample page; its displayed address is illustrative. Publication for an actual leader would require that person's approved contact arrangements and substantiated professional record.
