An invitation

Describe the work the technology result is meant to support

My most useful starting point is the sentence people are being asked to trust: the service has recovered, the view is current, or the document is ready. Explain which of those assurances needs examination and whose work depends on it. A short, fictional example is enough for me to understand the gap between a successful test and a usable task. Keep passwords, live connection details and identifiable policy material out of that introduction. If the discussion concerns board service, describe how the chair expects technology questions to enter collective deliberation and how much preparation the position requires. I would examine that expectation against my continuing employment, employee interest and available calendar before discussing acceptance. This is an illustrative contact page for an invented leader; an operational website would name its actual recipient and establish an agreed channel before requesting any restricted supporting evidence.
