The row count that changed the research claim
I would reconstruct the 2011 account in which 2700 laboratory readings from 900 source samples became 2700 independent samples in my presentation. The session would retain three replicate readings per source and Lina Mervathi's challenge to the interpretation. Participants would consider how a correct count can acquire an unsupported scientific meaning when its label changes. The correction would preserve the useful observations while withdrawing the claim I had added to them.
The discussion would keep statistical inference with the responsible experts and avoid declaring the 900 source samples independent for every possible analysis. I would explain why the correction needed to reach earlier users of the statement, not just a later version of a chart. This is a fictional proposed session, with no actual event or external invitation claimed. A genuine adaptation would require authorised research material and appropriate specialist participation. Its purpose would be to make data-leadership accountability concrete without offering a universal analytical rule or exposing participant records.
