Chief Marketing Officer China

Messages I welcome, and the ones I must decline

A Chinese medicine earns its place with doctors and patients through evidence it can show in public, so I spend marketing money only where it would survive being disclosed.

Three kinds of message are welcome here. Nomination committee chairs and search partners can write about an independent directorship that matches my Board Readiness page; it helps if the first note names the company, where it is listed, the committees in question and any relationship it has with Tanqiao, its founder's family, its agencies or its distributors, because I check conflicts before agreeing to meet. Marketing, medical-affairs and compliance leaders in healthcare can write to compare how they have rebuilt medical education, patient support or claim review; I learn as much from those exchanges as I contribute. Organisers of professional meetings on compliant promotion may also invite me to speak, with a few months' notice.

I cannot discuss Tanqiao's pricing, negotiation positions, pipeline or unpublished results, and I do not answer agencies or vendors seeking our business through this page; those approaches belong with our procurement team. Medical questions about our products should go to a doctor or to Tanqiao's medical information service. I am not considering executive roles. I read every message myself and reply within about ten days.
