Chief Product Officer India

Whom I am glad to hear from, and what I must decline

In small-town India a solar product is finished only when the net meter is in, the subsidy has arrived and the roof stays dry through the monsoon, so I design all three as the product.

Three kinds of message are most useful to me. The first comes from a nomination committee chair or search partner with a board seat in mind that resembles the one on my Board Readiness page, at a company outside power products whose customers are households or small businesses far from the metros. A first note works best when it names the company, the committees, the meeting calendar and any dealings with Dhruvanta, the Sethia family, our lending partners or our suppliers, because I screen for conflicts before agreeing to a call. The second comes from product leaders wrestling with rural distribution, contracted field crews or customer journeys that run through a utility or a lender. The third is an invitation to speak to product, retail-finance or distribution audiences.

Some subjects stay closed: Dhruvanta's unpublished numbers, products we have not announced, our dealings with any distribution company and our share price. I am not weighing executive offers. Vendors with leads or installation crews to offer will get a quicker answer from our services subsidiary. Messages sent through this page reach me directly, and I answer within ten days.
