Chief Operating Officer Japan
Bring me a specific question about keeping a network running
Most of what decides the morning after a typhoon is settled months before it, in decisions an operator can make in daylight.
I welcome a short note from the chair or nomination committee of a listed company outside telecommunications that is considering an outside director with field-operations and disaster-restoration experience; from organisers of substantive sessions on network resilience, field workforces or outage communication; and from operations leaders at utilities, railways or other networks comparing approaches to a specific problem. Please say who you are, what the question is, the time involved and any relationship with Hanagiri Networks. I am not looking for an executive move, so please do not approach me about one. I cannot discuss individual customers' service, contractor pricing or incident details beyond what Hanagiri has published. Customers with a service problem should contact Hanagiri's customer centre, where the request will reach someone able to act on it, and contractor firms should write to our purchasing department. Please keep confidential documents out of a first message.
