Write to me about boards and strategy, not about live deals

Search partners and nomination committee chairs looking for an independent director with acquisition, partnership and audience experience are the people I most want to hear from, provided the company sits outside media, entertainment and telecom. A first note that names the company, the committees involved, how often its board meets and any dealings it has with Ilavenil, our founding family, our larger advertisers or our distribution platforms lets me check for conflicts before anyone's time is spent. Strategy officers and directors comparing experience of regional media, consolidation or licences with global platforms are welcome too, as are organisers of governance and strategy sessions.

Some subjects are closed. Ilavenil's results before publication, our talks with distributors and rights holders, and any acquisition under consideration stay inside the company, and I take no calls about investing in its shares.
