Write to me about a board, a balance sheet or a talk

Search partners and nomination committee chairs are welcome to write to me about a single independent directorship of the kind my Board Readiness page sets out: a listed business outside power whose revenue rests on long contracts and whose balance sheet rests on long debt, where the Audit Committee needs someone at ease with project finance. A useful first message identifies the company, or describes it closely enough to recognise, says which committees are involved and how often they meet, and flags any link with Tejovan, our founding family, Aldermoor or our lenders, so that I can screen for conflicts before a call. Fellow CFOs, treasurers and committee members are equally welcome to compare notes on utility receivables, hedging policy or green-bond reporting, as are lenders and rating analysts looking for a speaker.

Some subjects are closed. Tejovan's results before publication, live bids, petitions before a commission and other price-sensitive matters stay off the table, and I do not respond to equipment vendors or to questions about buying our shares.
