In 2018 I approved converted samples because the page looked faithful to the source. Farida then followed their underlying reading sequence. Of eighteen reviewed samples, twelve preserved the intended order and six inserted sidebar material into the main argument at the wrong point. I had treated visual resemblance as sufficient evidence of a reading experience the review had not actually examined. We corrected the six and used ₹52 lakh over ten weeks to revise the acceptance process. The correction did not establish universal accessibility or compatibility across every reading system.
I now lead technology at Trezqoni Digital Typesetting in Mangaluru. Our 302 colleagues produce commissioned ebooks and structured documents, with ₹116 crore FY2025–26 revenue. Forty-one engineers work through four heads within ₹8.9 crore operating expense and a separate ₹3.6 crore capital programme. Indrajit is our CEO, and Farida leads publication-engineering practice. Clients retain editorial and subject decisions. My beneficial 0.04% interest sits within the professional ownership vehicle, and I have no statutory board seat.
Later reviews concerned returning a reader from a note to the correct passage and preserving the grouping of mathematical expressions after conversion. Six of twenty-eight note references returned to the wrong context and were corrected. Seven of thirty-six expressions needed attention; six were corrected and one remained held for subject review. The engineering account had to identify where a representation changed meaning rather than claim that a complete-looking file was ready for every use. A possible first outside contribution would require governance learning, an appointment-specific interests assessment and a workable twenty-three-day annual proposal. I want a publication’s technical approval to describe the reading conditions actually examined and the decisions still owned by qualified colleagues.
