Chief Information Officer Japan
Start with the company, its services and the seat
A hospital's systems are tested twice: on the night they fail, and on the morning a patient hands over a card the reception desk has never seen.
A short note from a chair, a nomination committee or an authorised search adviser is the best start. Please tell me which company it is, what its services are, which committee the board has in mind and why it wants someone with hospital systems experience. I will tell you at once if a supplier, pharmacy or referral relationship rules me out. I remain chief information officer of Tsuyuhakai, so any conversation beyond an introduction needs our chairman's approval first. Please do not send patient information, incident reports or security details in an opening message; those belong in a confidential process if the discussion continues. I do not take approaches from suppliers seeking an introduction to our hospitals through this page. Questions about patient care, appointments or records at Tsuyuhakai should go to the hospitals directly.
