Tell me what your board must decide to own

If your board is weighing whether to build an engineering or technology capability of its own, or how to respond to a large client that is doing so, I would welcome a conversation. It helps if you can tell me the company's ownership and listing status, the committee you have in mind, the expected time commitment and the reason the board wants another independent director. Please do not send confidential plans before we have agreed how they will be handled, and I will need to check any relationship with my employer first. I am happy to speak to a chair, a company secretary or a search partner acting for the company.
