Begin with what users depend on

For a CTO conversation, please describe the product's users, the financial or operating decisions it influences and the authority the role has over design and release commitments. I would be interested in a business that wants engineering and product leadership to examine those consequences together. An enquiry focused only on increasing delivery volume would need more context. For a board discussion, outline the company's ownership, expected contribution and relationships that may overlap with my current clients or suppliers. I would need employer consent and a clear view of the time commitment before progressing. Please do not send client forecasts, source data, access credentials or confidential roadmaps through an initial public message. A serious discussion can establish an appropriate channel. I am looking to understand the mandate and its fit with my experience, not to offer financial advice or a ready-made product strategy before learning the business.
