Name the dependency that worries the board

A savings policy sold in 1994 must still be paid correctly in 2044, whoever runs the computer that holds it.

A helpful first message names the company, the seat and the committee it would join, and tells me which system or supplier dependency worries the board most. A paragraph is enough. I do not need confidential documents to judge whether a conversation is worthwhile, and I would rather not receive any before a confidentiality arrangement exists. Chairs and search advisers are welcome to write. Because I am Corvelline's chief information officer, I cannot discuss our suppliers' terms, our security arrangements or anything concerning our policyholders; vendors offering products to Corvelline should approach our procurement team instead. Before any appointment I would need my employer's consent and a review of shared suppliers and distributors. I usually reply within a week, in Italian or English, and I prefer an initial call to a long exchange of messages.
