One membership takes care of everything between you and a board seat — it benchmarks your board readiness, hands you a Gap Analysis and a 90-day roadmap to close what’s missing, builds your board portfolio in the format nomination committees actually read, and lists you where they search. Then it opens the Upcoming Board Seats radar in your sector up to 18 months early and lets you apply — first — to the boards hiring through the Exchange.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is Foresight, and what am I paying for?
Foresight is the single India ID Exchange membership for directors who want board seats. It opens the Upcoming Board Seats radar — every independent-director seat projected to open in your sector, named, up to 18 months before it is advertised — and it lets you act: apply to the boards hiring through the Exchange, get your Gap Analysis and 90-day roadmap, have your board portfolio built, sit in the directory where nomination committees search, and request up to three Targeted Introductions a month. One membership, everything between you and a seat.
How much is it, and how does the discount work?
₹85,000 + 18% GST per year. A rotating promotional discount is always live — the exact percentage, the time remaining and the discounted price are shown above and honoured at checkout; you will never be charged more than the price displayed. You can also check out as a guest with just your name, email and phone, then set up your account afterwards.
Is the assessment free, and what does it involve?
Yes — sitting the assessment and seeing your overall Board-Readiness score is free, and we email you the axis-by-axis breakdown. It is a stringent, time-bounded evaluation: 60 scenario-based questions in 60 minutes, scored across three axes — Governance, Function and Sector. Every Foresight member is assessed by default as part of membership, and you can attempt the assessment up to three times. Your full Gap Analysis and 90-day roadmap unlock inside Foresight.
Who authors the assessment — and can it be gamed?
Every scenario is authored by trusted sitting and retired C-suite leaders drawn from Gladwin's 16 years of boardroom relationships — the people who actually face these judgment calls. They set the scenario, the answer strategies and the scoring methodology for each question, so you are measured on real boardroom judgment, not textbook recall. The corpus runs to 500+ scenario-based questions, and the platform never serves the same question twice to a returning participant — so each of your attempts draws a fresh, unseen set.
How tough is the assessment?
On paper, it is one of the toughest evaluations you will sit — harder to crack cold than a CSAT or CLAT, because none of it can be crammed. There is no syllabus to memorise: every question is a live boardroom scenario about ethics, judgment under pressure and what is genuinely right for the company and its stakeholders. For someone without real leadership grounding, it is punishing. For a director who has actually sat in those rooms and made those calls, it is a breeze — the strong answer is simply the judgment you already exercise. That is the design: hard to fake, natural to pass on merit — so a high score is a signal boards can trust.
Can the assessment be faked, or taken by an AI?
Not without ending your time on the Exchange. The platform is fully bot- and AI-protected: sessions are proctored and time-bounded, integrity and behavioural signals are monitored throughout, and because every attempt is drawn fresh from a 500+ scenario corpus, there is no shared answer key to circulate. If we identify that an assessment was taken by an AI, or by anyone other than the member, that person is barred from India ID Exchange permanently — no second chance. We enforce these evaluation protocols strictly, because the entire value of a Board-Readiness score is that a board can trust it was earned.
Do I have to pass the assessment to apply for jobs — and does my score matter?
Applying to live ID jobs is a Foresight member benefit — only Foresight members can apply through the Exchange. Your score is not mandatory to apply: membership is what unlocks applications, and you can apply to any matched role regardless of your score. Where score counts is on the board's side — boards can shortlist and filter applicants by Board-Readiness score, so higher-scoring members are surfaced and prioritised first. A strong score is what makes you stand out.
How does the radar see a seat before it's advertised?
Independent-director terms run on a fixed statutory clock under the Companies Act and SEBI's LODR. We continuously read public governance filings across every listed board, detect term expiries, cessations and composition gaps, and project them into a forward calendar. Foresight members see the named company, the committee in play, the tenure-expiry window and the sitting-fee benchmark — up to 18 months early.
Is my identity protected? Who can see that I'm looking?
Boards see your credentials — never your name. Your identity is held with military-grade confidentiality, end to end: you stay invisible until you choose to be seen, or until you approve an introduction. Nothing about your interest is ever posted publicly.
What are Targeted Introductions?
As a Foresight member you can name up to three specific boards a month and have the Exchange hand-deliver your board portfolio to their Nomination & Remuneration Committee, Company Secretary or CHRO — a warm, credentialed introduction, never a cold email. It is the difference between waiting to be found and choosing the board you want.
Why do I need this — can't I just apply to board roles myself?
Board seats are rarely won by applying to advertised roles. They are filled quietly, through nomination committees and trusted referrals, often before any public notice exists. Foresight's edge is timing and access: you see the seat forming up to 18 months early, and by the time the committee looks you are already assessed, portfolio-ready and listed exactly where they search — instead of finding out once the seat is gone.
Is it refundable? Do you guarantee a board seat?
Foresight is non-refundable, and no one can honestly guarantee a board seat — that timing rests with the companies searching, not with us. What Foresight does guarantee is readiness and visibility: you are assessed, portfolio-ready, listed where boards look, and first to the seats as they open. Because the assessment and score are free, you never pay merely to find out where you stand — you pay to be positioned to win.
What if I only want my board portfolio built?
That is the standalone Portfolio Builder — your board portfolio in the format nomination committees actually read, for a one-time ₹25,000 + 18% GST, without the membership. It is included free inside Foresight, so most directors simply take Foresight.
