What a quiet workforce report cannot tell the board
Participants examine a fictional management score that rewards the absence of employee concerns. The discussion begins with the legitimate desire to recognise early resolution, then tests whether the count can establish that result. Teams distinguish an unrecorded concern, a reported matter, a substantiated finding and a response, keeping the purpose of each category visible. The senior sponsor's role in approving the measure remains part of the case.
The proposed output is a short oversight account that identifies access, response and unresolved issues without replacing one simplistic ranking with another. The session does not investigate real employee complaints or prescribe a universal legal process. Sensitive personal records are unnecessary. This is an invented speaking format with no claim of previous delivery, audience numbers or endorsement. A real organiser would agree the audience, materials and boundaries in advance, using synthetic cases and retaining professional responsibilities for any actual employment matter discussed outside the exercise.
