The common assumption inside a long energy pipeline
I would examine the 1.2 GW platform proposal through the 800 MW dependent on one planned connection reinforcement. The discussion would retain Ellis Brackenmere’s argument for preserving access to an opportunity the company could not quickly reproduce. Deferring negotiation after US$3.4 million review of a proposed US$620 million purchase did not establish that the platform would fail or that the institution had avoided a quantified loss. Participants would distinguish capacity as a scale measure from evidence about the independence of development choices. I would not assess a live connection process or recommend an investment. An actual session would require authorised project material and the relevant professionals’ account of status. The proposed contribution is a clearer way to discuss concentration as a choice the institution may knowingly accept, with the opportunity surrendered by waiting kept inside the case rather than edited out to make the decision look obvious.
