Chief Operating Officer Singapore / Southeast Asia
Who I hope to hear from, and what I cannot discuss
An industrial park is judged in its worst week, so I run ours for the curtailment, the failed contractor and the dry season before they arrive.
Nomination committee chairs and search partners considering me for the kind of independent directorship set out on my Board Readiness page are welcome to write: a listed company in Singapore or elsewhere in ASEAN whose business is building or running large physical assets. A useful first note names the company, the committee, the likely meeting calendar and any link with Selvanta, its founding family, our contractors or our tenants, because I check conflicts before any call. I am equally glad to compare practice with other operators, owners and contractors on subcontractor payment, curtailment schedules, permits for dangerous work or water budgets for data centres, and to hear from organisers of industry sessions on those subjects.
Some things I must decline. Unannounced Selvanta transactions, live tenant negotiations and other price-sensitive matters are not for discussion, and contractors seeking work at our parks should approach our procurement team rather than me. Nor am I weighing executive moves elsewhere. Messages sent through this page reach me directly, and I answer them myself, normally within ten days.
