Chief Marketing Officer Australia

Who should write to me, and what I cannot discuss

A payroll customer hands us every employee's pay and bank details, so I judge marketing by the customers who stay, not the leads we count.

I read three sorts of approach with particular interest. The first comes from a nomination committee chair or search partner about a non-executive role resembling the seat on my Board Readiness page. It helps if you name the committees involved and the meeting calendar, and tell me whether the organisation uses Yarrowby software or works with any of our partners, so that I can check for conflicts before we speak. The second comes from marketing, product or customer leaders working through a pricing change, a partner programme or the aftermath of an incident who want to compare notes. The third is an invitation to speak to marketing, product or governance audiences.

Some doors stay shut. Yarrowby's numbers stay private until the ASX has them, our customers' names are theirs to give, and on the 2023 incident I will add nothing to our published statements. Investors should approach our investor relations team rather than me, and I am not weighing executive offers this year. The route to me is on this page; I answer it myself, normally inside seven days.
