Chief Human Resources Officer Japan

A short message with a specific question reaches me fastest

On a building site, hours, pay and authority are settled at the tender and in the pay table long before anyone signs in at the gate.

Messages from three groups of people get a considered reply from me at Asakage. A chair or nomination committee member considering an outside director for a company with a large field workforce should name the company, the committee in question and the days the role requires, and say whether the company has any contract with Asakage. HR leaders at other contractors, and at logistics or care companies, are welcome to write about a specific problem in working hours, pay grades or foreign recruitment; I answer those when I can and say so when I cannot. Organisers of industry seminars may invite me to speak on the same subjects. I am not considering executive search approaches at present. I cannot comment on Asakage's tenders, on individual employees, on wage negotiations with our union or on disputes with partner firms. Anyone working on an Asakage site, whether for us or for a partner firm, who has a concern about hours, pay or safety should use the site consultation line, which reaches a team able to act on it. Please send nothing confidential with a first message.
