Chief Data Officer Europe
Which letters I answer, and which subjects stay closed
A hospital record is written to treat one patient; before it answers anyone else's question, I have to show it is fit for that question and safe to use.
Nomination committees, board chairs and search consultants looking for a non-executive director with health-data, AI and research-integrity experience are welcome to write to me. It helps if a first message names the company, the committee work you have in mind, the meeting calendar and any dealings the company has with Aurevalle, its suppliers or its research partners, because I check conflicts before agreeing to meet. Hospital colleagues, research-ethics committees and fellow data officers who want to compare how they handle secondary use, imaging validation or patient objections are equally welcome; I learn as much from those exchanges as I offer.
Some requests I have to decline. I cannot discuss individual research projects under review, any patient's data or our contract terms with suppliers, and I do not evaluate products or join vendor briefings outside a formal procurement. Executive approaches are not something I am weighing while the warehouse and the new European rules need me here. Write through the details given on this page; replies come from me, in French or English, usually within ten days.
