Write with the question, the company and the connection

People in a software company can absorb a hard decision. What they hold against it is arithmetic nobody showed them.

Most useful to me are specific questions. A board chair or nominating committee thinking about a human resources and compensation committee seat can write with the company, the committee's current work and any connection to Kestrelford or its investors. Conference and podcast organisers are welcome when the session has room for a real argument about equity, reductions or early-career hiring in technology; I speak in French or English. HR leaders at other software and IT services companies who are planning a repricing, publishing pay bands or redesigning junior roles can ask to compare notes, and I will answer when I can do so without discussing Kestrelford's confidential data. I will not review individual offers or option grants, comment on another company's reduction or act as a reference for former colleagues through this page. Kestrelford employees and former employees with a concern about their own employment should contact our people team or our confidential reporting line, where the matter can actually be resolved. Executive search firms can write from the second half of 2027.
